Barbara Ann (Tuck) Wymbs, 84, of Skaneateles, New York, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in her hometown. She was born on February 26, 1941, in Skaneateles, the daughter of the late Harold Tuck and Josephine (Pearson) Tuck. Barbara was a graduate of Skaneateles High School.
A devoted homemaker, Barbara poured her life into her family and community. In her later years, she dedicated multiple decades to volunteer service, including long-term commitments at Montrose Bible Conference in Montrose, PA, and Ridgecrest Conference Center in Black Mountain, NC. Barbara cherished the outdoors and enjoyed walking, hiking, and traveling; she embarked on many cross-country adventures with memorable trips to Alaska, New Mexico, Oregon, and Utah.
She was known for her giving nature, prolific needlecraft work, quick wit, and fiercely competitive spirit in card games—qualities that endeared her to all who knew her.
Barbara is survived by her three sons: Kirk Atwater, Gregg Atwater and wife Christine, and Brian Atwater and wife Jeannine; two step sons Keith Wymbs and wife Eumi, and Bryan Wymbs and wife Mary; twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Timothy Wymbs; her daughter, Marsha Atwater; and her brothers, Gary and Paul Tuck.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14th at 1:00 p.m. at Montrose Bible Church in Montrose, PA.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
