Andrew John Szymanoski, 57, passed away on February 26, 2026. Born on August 27, 1968, in Syracuse, New York, Andrew spent his life in the community that shaped him and that he loved deeply.

Andrew was a graduate of SUNY Oswego. He was known for his loyalty to his family, his sense of humor, and his passion for sports. A proud supporter of Syracuse University athletics, he could often be found cheering on the Orange. Above all, Andrew was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns—standing by his team faithfully, even when, as he would joke, they didn’t always love him back.

Andrew was a proud father and grandfather. He is survived by his three children, Trent, Kyle, and Andrea, and by his beloved grandchildren, Jaxson, Sophia, and Zyana, who brought him great joy. Siblings Deb Tousley, John Stetes, Rich Stetes, Len Szymanoski and Kevin Szymanoski. He was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Joan Szymanoski. 

Andrew will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his love of sports, and the many memories he created with those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Hafner's Restaurant and Tavern on March 15th at 2pm.
