Harold John "Dupe" Dupre, 82 of Cleveland, passed away on September 30, 2018 at Oneida Extended Facility with his family by his side. He was born May 29, 1936 in West Monroe, NY. He was the son of Earl Dupre and Mary Carr. Harold lived in Cleveland for 75 years. Mr. Dupre married Shirley Marshall on May 15, 1965. He retired from Harden Furniture after 29 years as a pre-assembler. He loved hunting, fishing, word searches, bird watching, playing cards, taking kids to the Adirondacks camping, hiking and climbing mountains. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Shirley Marshall Dupre; two daughters, Nancy (James) Britton and Billie Jo (Michael) janes; one son, Adam Dupre (Christine Hatton); 12 grandchildren, Scott Britton, Rebecca & Matt LaValley, Tia, Sarah Gage Britton, Alyssa Milano, Michelle Janes, Summer & Lib-er-ty- Dupre, Heaven, Camrynn, Christian Merithew; four great grandchildren, Carson Milano, Aiden & Arianna Janes, Lucian LaValley. He also had five godchildren, Stacy Smith, Lacy Kelsey, Sammy and Amy Smith and Travis Chase and a special nephew, "Bo" James Marshall; He had three brother-in-laws, Thomas Smith, Samuel Smith, Dale Marshall and four sister-in-laws, Marlene Smith, Dale Ann Marshall, Shirley Marshall, Sue Marshall.
