Charles Rorick

May 25, 1940 ~ August 20, 2017 (age 77)

Charles E. "Chuck" Rorick, of Syracuse, NY, died Sunday, August 20, 2017 in St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Elmira, NY on May 25, 1940 to Charles Rorick and Iva White.

Chuck was a life-long resident of Syracuse, NY where he owned successful businesses, including a car dealership (Rorick Motors) and later a camper and motor home dealership (Rorick Recreation Center). He was a very giving man who always had a positive attitude about life.  He loved the NY State Fair, Syracuse basketball, cars and most of all, family.  He especially loved and was so proud of his children, grandchildren and granddogs.

Chuck is survived by Marilyn Rorick; daughter, Kimberly Iauco and son-in-law Daniel, son, Charles P. Rorick, daughter in law, Patty Rorick, 3 grandchildren, Casey, Peter and Lucas, 1 great-grandchild, Elijah and special friend Paula Megan. 

There will be a service held at 3pm on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Liverpool, NY, with a gathering for friends and family immediately following services at the IHM Social Hall.  Donations can be made in his name to Humane CNY Animal Shelter at http://www.humanecny.org/
