I had the honor and privilege to care for both Betsy and Bob at Wynwood. At that time I was the Health and Wellness Director and spent many of hours with them and their loving daughters. Both Trish and I will always hold our memories with them as blessings that helped to enrich our lives. Betsy's spirit and tenacity left a legacy for her family. I will always remember Betsy and I and our inside joke of the bird outside the window. All of my love and gratitude for being blessed to be a small part in her life.

Betsy was a pillar of the Fair Haven community. Betsy brought people together in friendship, always portrayed a positive, helpful attitude and led the village in many events over the years. Both Rick and I have missed Betsy's and Bob's friendship most recently. Our condolences are extended to the Hughes family.

Your Mom was one of the most truly charming women I have ever met. She did so much for the community and was always a pleasure to be around. She is missed and will not be forgotten by any who had the privilege of knowing her.

So very sorry to hear about Betsy's passing. We grew up together. We played sports together in high school and were both on the cheering squad. I was her maid of honor at her wedding. I was so looking forward to seeing Betsy this fall while I was in the area visiting. We always had fun together and she will be greatly missed.

Pete and I were so fortunate to know your mother. I can hear her laugh right now and when I brought her my troubles, she always had a sane and comforting word. I am happy that she had such a long and fulfilling life full of every kind of love. I know that she must have felt that even at the end and that your family will always feel her presence nearby.
