To Kathy, Nancy and Margie...I have so often thought of your Mom with warm memories of a long ago past. She was a generous, positive spirit and one of those 'good souls' that you hope to run across in life and call a friend.
I am so sorry for your loss but know that a life well lived is a beautiful thing. I hope that your loving memories of her bring your peace and comfort...and a smile to your faces for many years to come. Bonnie

I worked with Jean at USAirways and she was such a lovely and kind person. Not matter how hard a passenger was to deal with Jean always remained calm. She and I also trained together as AARP tax aides and she was so dedicated. She will be missed.

What a lovely picture of your Mom - we will always remember her wonderful/sweet smile. Jean's volunteering/service to others was remarkable, and Margie you follow in her footsteps. We will miss the special times we spent with her. And as we say good bye, we can hear that laugh that was so her.

I was in your mom's training class at USAirways and always loved her humor, dedication to any project she was involved in, but most of all her kindness. You are so lucky to have the memories of such a wonderful mom, friend, teacher and role model. May she rest in peace.

The Helmes family has many wonderful memories of visits with Jean at her home in Fayetteville and good times at Green Lakes. She was a wonderful lady with a good heart and great smile. Patrick, Nora and Mairead will always remember her fondly as a grandmotherly influence in their lives during our years in Syracuse. Nancy, Kathy and Margie - You are in our thoughts during this sad time.

I knew Jean from working with her at USAirways, She was a pistol, so quiet and reserved but she had quite a sense of humor. She will be missed, such a wonderful person who gave so much of herself to everyone. I am so happy to have known her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

The sixteen and a half years we lived next door to Jean were really special. She made our time at Beech St very happy and taught us so much, most importantly how to be a good neighbor and friend. She was like a second mother to me. I fondly remember the chats and food we shared as well as the cats, politics, frugality, and gardening we had in common! We will miss her greatly and treasure the time we had her in our lives. xoxo

I did not have the honor of knowing you Jean, however, being that you are the mother of one of my very dearest friends of all that I have ever had, Katherine - I pray that you are well and that you are in a peaceful place. I pray that you are with us in spirit still and always - I pray that your family feels your spirit in their hearts and souls forever and in this moment and every moment they miss and need you still. I pray that we all work together toward our highest good. I say this in the spirit of being with you in spirit though I didn''''''''''''''''t know you. I am praying for you and your family. I want you to know how much I love and care so very much for your daughter Katherine. She is one of the most beautiful human beings I have ever met and had the honor of having in my life. Without a doubt, the world is a much better place with her in it, most certainly mine is. And I just wanted to thank you for all you gave in contributing to making her the person she is today. I offer my condolensces to your entire family.
